This is true also if you’re going to take in sleeping pills, anti-histamines, and tranquilizers, coffee and rich foods. These drinks and foods keep the muscles relaxed in the air passages.
Well, if it is hard for you to say bye-bye to these, then, limit your consumption or take them hours before your bedtime.

Can’t puff enough? Now, it’s time to give that stick a rest. Studies reveal that smoking will aggravate the problem because it blocks the air passageway. Even though you are not a smoker but rather, a secondhand smoker, be careful also. You might experience the same.
Having the Right Sleep Position
And, you are asking why sleep position becomes an issue. The thing is, lateral sleeping will help you a lot instead of sleeping on your back because through this your airways are obstructed by your tongue and a lot. One good practice is to elevate your head 30 degrees higher and have some good, soft pillows.
